Did you know that the Tillamook Chamber offers employers access to a health insurance program? It seems like one of the best kept secrets in the House – but we want to change that, because it really is a neat program.

We are partnering with Bend Chamber of Commerce and Corey Bush with Hudson Insurance to bring Bend’s health insurance program to Tillamook. Here’s how it works: Any member in good standing of the Tillamook Chamber of Commerce also becomes an associate member of the Bend Chamber of Commerce, which can then offer their rates and insurance plans right here in Tillamook. They work with Corey as a local agent, so you have someone in town who can walk you through the process.

What’s especially cool about this benefit is that you can customize your plan from six different options from PacificSource, so you and your employees can enjoy the health benefits that best suit your needs. We know that health insurance is not universal, so we are proud to be able to offer the possibility of choosing.

The plans are also competitively priced, so you might end up with better-suited coverage at a lower rate. This is something we have already heard from members who have taken advantage of this benefit!

For companies that don’t yet offer health benefits, you may find that this program finally makes them affordable.

With registration open for federal programs starting in November, it’s good to start now to see if these plans are right for you and your employees. This will give you time to work out the details and ask all the questions you need before the insurance companies take care of it later in the fall.

I won’t go into the details of each plan here, but I can tell you that all health plans cover essential health benefits, no-cost preventive care, calendar year benefits, and all out-of-pocket expenses. members for covered services. apply to the annual limit on disbursements.
